LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
-Psalm 16:5-6
But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,”
Says the LORD of hosts.
- Malachi 4:2, 3
Thank You for Your humility...
Thank You for the Cross...
Thank You for the shed blood... the broken body...
Thank You for the empty tomb...
Thank You for rising from the grave...
Thank You for Resurrection morning...
Thank You that You are a Promise keeper, God completely trustworthy...
Thank You for providing the way for me... a way of escape from the darkness.
Thank You... for shining Your light into the darkness of my life.
Thank You for being my Redeemer.
A mere "Thank You" could never express my gratitude...
But what more can I say, Lord? Words are not good enough...
I'll be forever grateful...
"Let my life be a candle that shines for you!!!"
Light of a Million Mornings
Claire Cloninger/Mark Hayes
I couldn't see the the sunshine through the shadows
I couldn't seem to find a soul to care
And in my darkest hour
You touched me with Your power
And when I looked your light was everywhere.
The light of a million mornings filled my heart
The sound of a million angels sang my song
The warmth of a love so tender
Touched my life and suddenly
A light of a million mornings dawned in me
I never tried to understand the sunrise
I only know it takes away the dark
I can't explain Your healing
Or all the joy I'm feeling
I only know You've come into my heart.
And now that Your glory has come shining through
Let my life be a candle, Lord
That shines for You
Shines for You...
Shines for You...
The light of a million mornings filled my heart
The sound of a million angels sang my song
The warmth of a Love so tender
Touched my life and suddenly
The light of a million mornings...
The light of a million mornings...
Has dawned in me

Lidj - How I have been blessed catching up on your blog. Thank you for your sharing - it's always so insightful, and brings such truth to my heart.
Dear Jesus - thank you for Your unspeakable gift. Thank you for Your gracious forgiveness. Thank you for the blood of Your salvation that covers me.
You're right, Lidj - there are no adequate words...
Blessed Easter to you and yours!
GOD BLESS!
Sharing your joy and thanksgiving for Resurrection Day! (Guess you had "yours" before we celebrate ours!) Actually, we celebrate EVERYday, don't we. Rejoice and live in the same power that raised Jesus from the dead!
Lidj, I have enjoyed all of
your recent posts about the
Lord's death and resurrection
and this one as well.
He is risen indeed!
Happy Resurrection Day!
Love,
Sandy
Hi Lidj,
You know I so wish I was as obedient as Jesus. I fail and fail again. :( But thankfully Jesus knows and understands how tough it is here on earth and He give us grace and forgiveness.
When I ponder on this gift of His I get lost in His love and become so thankful that He looks past the rotten parts of me and just loves.
Oh what a love!
Blessed resurrection day sister,
<><
Dear Lidj,
It's still night in Norway.
A little past 3 a.m.
Serina and I have been watching the gift from Dad golden; "Love comes softly"while waiting for our bonfire to die out.Wonderful.
I thought I'd check out new blogs before going to bed and found yours.
"The light of a million mornings. So appropriate for Easter morning.
For several hundred years Norwegians have climbed mountain tops Easter Mornings before sunrise. The tradition is, you can see the sun dance if you're watching sunrise from a mountain peek on Easter morning.
Maybe it's pagan, I can't say for sure, but Christian tradition has taken over what's in your song; earch and longing for the light of a million morning.
Time to greet you:
He is risen.

I love the words to this song. Beautiful!
The Light of a million mornings has dawned in me.
May you experience a blessed Resurrection Day.

had to come by Lidj and wish you and your family a very happy Easter.
Happy Easter Beautiful Lidj! Enjoy your beautiful grandsons today! Blessings, Sandy:O)
What a beautiful view living on near the water where the gift of His love and beauty seem to be ever present. Thanks for your picture and the reminder of the Son rise. And the power of His blood. Blessings to you this week.
Lidj, the one thing that jumped out at me from this posting of your heart, is that our God, our Lord and Savior...our all....is a promise keeper.
WOW, what an amazing "identity" "characteristic" "truth" of our amazing amazing Father. A promise keeper!
Love to you,
Yolanda
A beautiful thank you list, Lidj. I know how you feel. Words are not enough to express our thanks to God. I hope you had a joyful Easter.
Lidj,
Thank you for visiting my blog. So many times I feel like I just ramble and not certain that God can use my thoughts in any way!
YES... Its awesome how God can connect spirits even across the ocean!~
Hugs,
Holly
