This was the fourteenth and last station on the Walkway Interactive Stations of the Cross.
It was wonderful how beautiful the ending was - each Christ believer and follower was given the opportunity to partake of the Lord's Supper in a very meaningful way!
There was a lovely table set up, just the way it probably was set up on the night Jesus was betrayed.
Somehow, it was a solemn reminder to me that the Lord's Supper is a sacrament, an ordinance which points to the redemptive purpose of what Jesus went through.
"Do this in remembrance of Me." These are the words of Jesus. "Each time you do this, you celebrate what I have done, until I come back again!"
Those words strike deep.
The truth is, on March 27, my 57th birthday, I had a sense that it was the start of something very different in my life. Like this year is not going to be like any year I've ever been through!
I had actually planned to start a 21 day Daniel Fast on that very day, and also commit to celebrate the Lord's Supper everyday, just by myself, in the quiet of my prayer room, Elim.
But the plan did not materialize... for many reasons. The day called for a celebration, not a fast, and so I realized that the Daniel Fast could be moved to a later date.
I decided to celebrate the day with my friends, and with a special dinner with my family that evening.
A few days later, I was back in Manila, and since I was conducting seminars, and doing ministry, it also was not the proper time to go into a fast.
One great thing though is that for three days now, my daughter Obedient One and I have been celebrating the Lord's Supper everyday. It has such a cleansing and healing effect on us.
Indeed, taking Communion everyday has a way of keeping our hearts and spiritual senses focused on the Lord!
As this will be my last post on the Walkway Reflections, I realize that my Holy Week experience this year was tailor made for the new season that God has prepared for me.
How meaningful everything has been thus far! God is speaking to me again of obedience.
"Do you love Me?" He seems to be asking.
"Yes, Lord, You know that I do." I hear myself saying the same words Peter told Jesus.
"Feed My sheep...feed My lambs."
My Holy Week experience was a God ordained introduction to the next leg of my spiritual journey! There will be healing, there will be cleansing, there will be a season of waiting, and learning new ways of trusting Him.
It is a season of being about my Father's business.
Walking the second mile. Turning the other cheek. Giving away the extra tunic.
“Take nothing for the journey,
neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money;
and do not have two tunics apiece.
- Luke 9:3
A season of brokenness and humility and becoming more Christlike in my daily choices.
A season of allowing the broken places of my life to heal, and to be made stronger than ever.

One of the pastors at my church always speaks of the significance of the Lord's table.
I was driving home from an interview for a permanent position at work, when the song carried to the table by Leeland played. The Lord brought this pastor to might, so I found the song on you tube and sent it to him. It turns out that a drama based on that song was being planned for the Good Friday service.
I love the way God encourages us!!!
Here's the link if you're interested.
